CAT CT660

Catterpillar approached us to make a video debuting their brand new CAT Truck models - the CT660 and CT681. Since the trucks were not in production yet and the designs were secret, CAT gave us CAD files of the truck designs and it was our job to shade, texture, and convert the files for use in Maya. The extremely talented Kris Cabrera led our team on the project and showed us some great tips and tricks on how to tackle such huge filesizes. I helped model and shade the environment and any missing truck parts, animated the camera, and did some simulations with TurbulenceFD for environmental smoke and haze.
